EFP Drives Growth with $31.5M Expansion in SC

(March 2025) BISHOPVILLE, SC – EFP (Engineered Foam Packaging), a leading provider of high-volume molding, fabrication, and cold chain solutions, is pleased to announce plans to expand its operations in Lee County, South Carolina. The $31.5 million investment will create 57 new job opportunities, reinforcing EFP, LLC.’s ongoing commitment to the region.

As a trusted name in protective and consumer packaging, cold chain solutions, and packaging supply chain services since 1954, EFP continues its legacy of innovation and excellence. Specializing in the design, prototyping, and manufacturing of protective packaging and components, the company serves a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical, food distribution, furniture, and more.

The expansion involves a 200,000 square-foot addition to EFP’s existing facility at 277 Browntown Road in Bishopville. This substantial growth will boost production capacity for advanced expanded polystyrene (EPS) and expanded polypropylene (EPP) solutions, enabling EFP to better serve its customers while maintaining its role as an industry leader. Operations are expected to be fully online in April 2026.
